Im a huge fan of Casio's G-Shock range and already have 2 of them. I decided to buy this model as it had all the best bits of the whole G-Shock range.
The Casio wave-ceptor technology is fantastic, never having to worry about if the time is correct or panic when the clocks go forward or backwards a hour is great. Also the world time function will sure come into its own when i need it.
It has all the normal funtions that a good Casio normally has, stopwatch, timer, and more alarms then fire station. There is also the altemeter, barometer and compass which although i have had a play with and work great i dont really have any use for them. The tempreture sensor is also great, however for a true reading then you must remember to take to watch off your wrist and sit it down for 20 minutes.
Using all the functions on the watch is really easy thanks to the way that Casio have made use of the screw out crown. You turn the crown a couple of times, and it pops out a little to show a red line which confirms that the crown is now ready to use. By turning the crown again either clockwise or anti clockwise allows you to change the value of what ever function you are using or trying to set. When your done, push and turn the crown at the same time to put it away again.
The hands on the watch have really good magic stuff that keeps them glowing in the dark, im sure theres a really big scientific word for whatever it is called. It does fade as the hours pass in the dark however you still have the auto led light to use if needed. There is a function that you can turn on or off that turns the LED light on every time you lift up to look at the time.
I would strongy advise that you read the start of the manual when you first get the watch. It takes you through the steps of setting up the watch. Trust me its worth doing this. I did the typical man thing and went at it like a bull in a china shop. When everything wasnt doing what i wanted ot to then i had to bite the bullet and look at the manual (serious loss of man points i know...shameful) What should take about 10-15 minutes to set up ended up taking 1 hour, 4 cups of coffees and £38 in the swear jar. If i had only read the manual then this would have been avoided. Its really is very easy.
I cant really think of any bad points from my point of view. However if you dont like big, chunky watches then maybe look for a different one. I have quite big wrists and love big watches 50mm diameter and more.
If your looking for a G-Shock watch then this is the watch for you. I love mine and havent taken it off yet. You wont regret it. Watches2U sent mine off sharply and kept me informed when the got the order, processed it and sent it. I also got a tracking number but didnt need it as it turned up on the door 2 days later. Thanks guys and girls.

This really is one of those watches that's even better when it's on your wrist !
Packed full of features , I found after an initial scan of the instruction booklet , easy to operate .
What I like most about the watch is how clear and easy to read it is with just the quickest of glances . It feels tough and robust without being too heavy on your wrist ...
If I were being picky I would score it down on two things . Firstly the strap , it feels thin and plasticky and although I don't feel it's incapable of doing its job , I would have preferred a more premium "feel" to it and I also found it made my skin sweaty underneath whilst working , not something I've found in my previous Casios ( Mudman ).
Depending on your line of work or pastime , I would seriously consider this as an issue - I am already considering changing the strap .... The other place I'd score it down is the night light ... It has a little LED bulb that lights up at the bottom of the watch well , but less so at the top - so much so that you end up having to press to light up a couple of times to really see the time depending on what time it is .
To round up, all in all a good looking watch packed full of features - if there were a more breathable strap and a better design night light , I'd go as far as to say it would be the best Casio ever manufactured and well worth serious consideration .
